March 9, 2017

Members heard some updates about the March 28 Montezuma Area Business Expo during the group's monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 8, in city hall.

A total of 23 vendors had signed up to appear at the show, with about three
weeks left before show date. Vendors are still being accepted.

There will be a photo booth at this year's Expo and Ben Ahrens will again
play music. The Kingdom Klowns will be on hand for balloon sculpturing. KGRN
radio will provide announcing service.

The event will take place from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the school's central
gym.

Melinda Shultice, administrator at Montezuma Specialty Care, was introduced.
She said the 49-capacity facility has 35 residents at present. She also
noted that the rehabilitation services have picked up considerably during
the last 6 months.

Loren Elliott, owner of two businesses, briefly outlined their services. He
and his wife own Windmill Lane Boarding Kennel, located between Montezuma
and Deep River.

Elliott also owns Brand Ranking Solutions, which helps independent business
owners merge their online and offline advertising and marketing efforts.

The Boosters thanked Gina Urfer for her help with cleaning the planters and
sorting and organizing materials.
